Valentine's Day is around the corner and love is definitely in the air.
I know, I sound like a sappy romantic--but since its not gray and dreary but still cold and sunny out, there is not a nip of snow its total cuddling weather!
I personally have been listening to Outkast's The Love Below and reading Bret Easton Ellis' American Psycho.
I was just thinking of what a romantic and amazing album this was back in 2003. I am a HUGE Outkast fan, and when they released Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, the double album allowed an act to stay together when there were clearly creative differences and styles happening within the duo. Andre 3000 and Big Boy's styles had been fragmenting the group's fanbase and while their style together was awesome and unique in their previous albums. Through this device of still working under Outkast but doing two separate albums, allowed them to capitalize on their already large fanbase but also a new more mainstream audience. Genius.
I remember these--do you?
So DUST this album out and bring it back...I am sure most of you have or had this at some point!?
IF you don't you definitely need to own this: The Love Below is one of the most romantic albums ever...
